Risk Details PR (Property)

This screen allows risk level data for Property business to be added to a risk (or quote), either manually or by using the risk item import or import schedule options. Risk details PR will be available on quote or policy records which have their Policy Type code mapped to the PR - Property Risk Details Type in the CODES program.

There are several ways to view these risk details. In the navigation tree, right click on the required record and select the 'Open RISKDETPR' option; alternatively either double click on the record in the navigation tree, or search for the record and click on the record to open it. On the Risk View screen or from within the open record, select the hyperlink Edit Risk Details which will then show the risk details screen. Alternatively, type RISKDETPR into the NOVUS shortcut box, and select the record to edit.

Each property is entered as an indexed insured name in the top left hand corner of the screen and the address, information and deductibles tabs in the right hand corner of the screen can be used to store additional information against each property. Risk items can then be added in the bottom part of the screen for each property. When a risk item is added, the premium is automatically calculated based on the sums insured, sums insured % and rate %.

If there has been a transaction on the policy, padlocks will be shown on the screen indicating that the policy is locked and changes cannot be made without running the RISKEND program.
