Risk Details FL
This screen allows risk level data for Financial Lines business to be added to a risk (or quote). The import schedule functionality is not available yet for this details type so the import button is greyed out. Please discuss any requirement for an import schedule for this Risk Details Type with Morning Data.
Risk details FL will be available on risks (or quotes) which have their Policy Type code mapped to the FL - Financial Lines Risk Details Type in the CODES program.
There are several ways to view these risk details. In the navigation tree, right click on the required record and select the 'Open RISKDETFL' option; alternatively either double click on the record in the navigation tree, or search for the record and click on the record to open it. On the Risk View screen or from within the open record, select the hyperlink Edit Risk Details which will then show the risk details screen. Alternatively, type RISKDETFL into the NOVUS shortcut box, and select the record to edit.
Each insured interest is entered as an indexed insured name in the top left hand corner of the screen and the address, information and deductibles tabs in the right hand corner of the screen can be used to store additional information against each insured. Risk items can then be added in the bottom part of the screen for each insured. When a risk item is added, the premium is automatically calculated based on the sums insured, sums insured % and rate %.
If there has been a transaction on the policy, padlocks will be shown on the screen indicating that the policy is locked and changes cannot be made without running the RISKEND program.
Address Tab
The Address tab allows the entry of address details against each insured interest. The latitude / longitude can be completed, and the Update button will auto populate the address, or the address can be manually populate and the latitude / longitude will auto populate.

Information Main Tab
The Information Main tab, as shown above, has the following fields:

Deductibles Tab
The deductibles tab allows deductibles to be set against the insured interest as below, and these are for reporting purposes only.
The following fields are on the deductibles tab:

Peril code | This is a lookup to the CODES program peril code. For documentation fields to work correctly, WS, TY, OP, FL, EQ must be used for windstorm, terrorism, any other perils, flood and earthquake respectively. |
Limit | Enter the peril code limit |
Amount | Enter the deductible amount. This field will be automatically calculated if this field is left blank and the percent is added |
Percent | Enter the percentage of the limit, and the amount will automatically be calculated if the amount field is blank |
Basis | Select the CODES program basis (ER3001) codes |
Description | Description of basis code |
Risk Items
For each insured interest, risk items can be entered. The fields available for each risk item are:

Risk Item Code | This is a lookup to the CODES program risk items code. If risk item codes are not setup for the section group used on the policy, a warning message will appear when the risk details screen is opened |
Section Type | This is automatically populated based on the information in the CODES program for the risk item code selected |
Description | The description is automatically populated based on the description assigned to the Risk Item Code, although the description can be overtyped |
Insured From | This is automatically populated based on the section from date, although the date can be overtyped |
Completion date | Enter the practical completion date |
Insured To | This is automatically populated based on the section from date, although the date can be overtyped |
Sums Insured | Enter the value for this line item |
Turnover/Wageroll/Contract Value | Enter the turnover/wageroll/contract value for this line item |
Sums insured % | Enter the sums insured percentage for this line item |
M & D Premium | Enter the minimum and deposit premium |
Excess | Enter the excess applicable to the insured item |
Rate % | Enter the rate percentage for this line item |
Earned Premium | The premium of the insured item is automatically calculated based on the value and rate (if the Auto button is in view, or can be entered manually if the Manual button is in view |
Import Schedule
The import schedule functionality is not available yet for this Risk Details Type so the import button is greyed out. Please discuss any requirement for an import schedule for this Risk Details Type with Morning Data.
Risk Item Import
Risk items can be imported against individual insureds. See the risk item import page on this wiki for more details.
Controls
Delete All will delete all insureds and their associated risk items. To delete a single insured and its associated risk items, click on the line to be deleted to highlight, then use Ctrl + Del. Remaining insureds will retain their original index number.
The import schedule functionality is not available yet for this Risk Details Type so the import button is greyed out. Please discuss any requirement for an import schedule for this Risk Details Type with Morning Data.
View on Map button will invoke the RISKMAP to display the locations on the risk (or quote) on a map.
On the Address tab, the Update button enables the user to enter or amend a latitude / longitude and update the address.
Clicking the Adjust Premium button will open the claims history and premium breakdown window.
Risk item import is used to import risk items against individual insureds.
Delete Risk Item: To delete a risk item, select a row using the indicator column, and press this button.
MTA (mid-term adjustment) will off insure the selected risk item row and create a new line.
If the Auto button is displayed then the premium is automatically calculated based on the sums insured, sums insured % and rate %. If automatic calculation is not required, click Auto and change to Manual.
Cancel will remove any changes made since opening the risk details, so that the original risk details are preserved.
Save will save any changes that have been made in risk details.
Close will close the risk details screen, although if changes have been made and not saved, a warning message will be displayed.
