The PROFSCHED Documents and Document Tags pages provide extra information on this program.

Pro forma schedule documents are WP templates generated using Microsoft Word. The templates available are policy type-based and can be pre-formatted to meet your company's specific requirements. (Contact Morning Data for additional assistance).

The pro forma schedule document is built from a template in which the user enters details of the goods insured, for example: of yacht insurance, property, etc. The pro forma schedule would also contain any navigational constraints and details of the clauses, which would apply to the cover. The pro forma schedule is usually a client facing document, containing description of the agreed insurance policy.

Note: If you enter the risk details DO NOT use quotes (") as that will affect writing to the output file (pc.csv) and prevent producing the resulting profsched document.

How to create a PROFSCHED

1. From the documentation Menu on the right-hand side of the screen for the risk select pro forma schedule, or type PROFSCHED in the NOVUS shortcut box.
2. Enter policy number.
3. Tab through the form.
4. To create a profsched from a template select ‘T’ and enter full path of the WP template to be used eg: W:\wp\templates\general.doc.
5. If ‘C’ (create) is selected a new blank profsched.doc will be created.
6. Press [COMMIT]. The Microsoft Word document will be displayed. After editing, saving and printing the document, close the document or exit from Word.
7. If the country code is set to US, a checkbox will be displayed which will allow a user to select a standard fatca document to be added to the risk. The document must be stored in w:\Dummies_W2000 and should be called fatca.pdf. 8. if a separate document is required to come to the screen, not part of the PROFSCHED which will ultimately be embedded in the POLICY document, then tick the box at the end of the row for the template you are using. Ensure you have a template in the Templates folder, named identically to the Template name with "_Docs" before the ".docx" file type.

How to add a new template

1. Enter T in the option box.
2. Click add new template

1. From the documentation menu on the right-hand side of the screen for the risk select pro forma schedule, or type PROFSCHED in the NOVUS shortcut box.
2. Enter the quote or policy number

4. Press [COMMIT]. 5. The Microsoft Word document will be displayed. After editing, saving and printing the document, close the document or exit from Word.

Resetting flags

It is possible to reset flags in the program by pressing f5 followed by [COMMIT]. The program will build a new document next time the program is used rather than use the current document held in the WP repository. For detailed information on how the process works, see the Reset Flags page in this wiki.
