Cover Note Addendum

Addenda to cover notes or evidence of cover are produced using the COVADD program. In order to produce documentation a cover note or evidence of cover must exist, produced using the COV program.

Cover addenda add changes to the initial cover note after endorsement has been done using the ENDORSE program.

Field name Description
Policy No / Year Enter the policy No. and Year to which the addendum attaches.
Addendum No. The next available addendum no. will be displayed.
Your Ref Completion of this field is not mandatory however data entered here may be displayed on client documentation if required.
Endorsement No. Enter the endorsement No. to which the addendum attaches.
Cover Note Issue Date The date entered via the COV program will be displayed here.
System Option 'C'reate or 'E'dit will be displayed here as appropriate.
Client Selection Client(s) name(s)are listed here. Where a single client exists press [COMMIT] and [COMMIT] again or click the Proceed button to invoke creation of the cover note addendum. Where more than one client is listed press [COMMIT] and select the client for the document to be created. Press [COMMIT] to produce the documentation. Repeat the procedure until all addenda have been produced.

Resetting flags

It is possible to reset flags in the program by pressing f5 followed by [COMMIT]. The program will build a new document next time the program is used rather than use the current document held in the WP repository.
