Name Full Account Listing
Shortcut ACCLIST
Area IBA

See the NOVUS Walkthrough Guide for further information.

The ACCLIST program will provide a report listing IBA (Insurance Broking Accounts) accounts that match, or fall within the parameter(s) provided on the page. A detailed report can be specified, or the system will generate a list of the totals for each account listed. The results will be displayed in a grid.

The yellow filter bar can be used together with the groupings panel to sort, filter, or group the data as required. If more columns are available these can be selected using the column customisation button. Columns can be moved into a different order by clicking and dragging the column heading. Additional selection options are available in the column titles bar.

The results can be printed in a pre-formatted style, data only, or saved in one of several formats using the buttons at the bottom of the grid.

This window is best viewed using the maximise the top centre panel button in the window controls panel.

Account Range

The account range group allows you to specify the range within which accounts will be listed on the report. For a report on a single account simply select the same account for both the first and last options.

Original Accounting Date Range

The original accounting date range options act in the same way as the account range, by providing a start and stop range, but on dates, within which postings on this account will be used in the report.

For example, to produce all transactions for a particular set of accounts within a particular month, select the account(s) listed, select the first date, say 01-MAY-2019, followed by the last date 31-MAY-2019.

The Instalment Date is the effective date of the instalment and is normally driven from the inception date of the policy (but can be tailored) in the TRANPT program.

For example, a policy incepting 01-JAN-19 with 2 half-yearly instalments will have one set of records (splitter A) with Instalment Date 01-JAN-19 and the other set (splitter B) with an Instalment Date of 01-JUN-19.

For 'ALL' dates, the default runs from the 1st January from the first year in the database to 2048 as a default.

Use the table below for a guide on the options available for the report.

The detailed report option displays the results in the lower part of the ACCLIST window. This option is only available if a single account and a single currency are selected. If the include revenue check box is ticked and detailed is selected when the run report button is clicked, then the individual department code column is included in the report and can be further customised using the grouping feature.

Additional columns can be added to the grid using the column customisation button. These include turnover of original insured, policy limit, policy excess, occupancy code, and occupancy code description of the client account amongst others.

Optional columns are available to enable reporting on country code and region code for the risk and the original assured.

Where the user-defined custom field: Turnover exists in a database, a new optional column is available on the detailed view for custom field: Turnover which will output the value held on the risk in the user-defined custom field: Turnover.

The total report shows one summary line per currency/account with debit and credits in separate columns.

Output can be printed or saved to a file in five different formats.

Note: The write off amount can never be outstanding, it is a debit/credit amount that has been written off - so by definition it cannot be outstanding.
